I Didn’t Die — New Poems

By Poe
January 1, 2025 1 Min Read

I just stepped off Earth for a while.
I sat with the higher ones —
 talked, laughed, listened —
and then they sent me back.
 I was granted another chance.
Now I know the quiet joys of simply waking up.
 The responsibility of being yourself.
The power of owning what you’ve done —
 not getting crushed by it,
not letting the world’s noise paint you into a dead end.
