The Cycle of Emptiness — New Poems

By Poe
January 1, 2025 1 Min Read

People are hollow.
We trade our bodies like currency,
sell our lust for a fleeting touch—
drawn to beauty, blind to meaning.
 We’ve forgotten how to care,
how to hope, how to believe
 that tomorrow could be different.
 But this cycle—
this endless ache of feeling like nothing—
is not something we need to wake up to again.
