Year of woe
A Year of Woe
By Vincent Enrico Magnani
The last four years have been nothing but hurdles, ambition, and resilience at its purest.
Fought battles, stood by the truth in my humanity.
If they say no, and it doesn’t make sense, or in better terms, point-blank, then leave it.
I forgive my cries and hollers over childhood memories, turning them into the present day, unless—loot, loot, loot.
Fought on the very grounds of home to keep it, even though I wanted to, wanted to run and restart.
It’s like the response to post-traumatic healing.
Looked like I wanted to act on selfish roads.
Wasn’t the answer.
I really want to take the time to say thank you, Vincent. Thank you for finding your soul again while time was, and did pass.
