Undercurrent — Phoenix Heart

By Poe

Regrets and somber tears.
His personality processed a traumatized past to create an outlook
of rainy days, windy thoughts, and damaged paths. War and
bloodshed that ended unexpectedly.
Can change—a destructive path of conflict—really be the key to
success?
If life were as simple as a straight line, the heartbeat of broken
dreams would stay at one point, and the mirrors of reflection would
always reflect the same progression.
Gosh, this is annoying.
The tides are picking up, washing ashore new beginnings—shells,
rocks, seaweed, and wood. The tides move in, washing away new
beginnings.
He doesn’t judge right away. Maybe it’s his deficiency? Chill.
If the beginning of his time hasn’t already created a conflicted
mastermind in disguise, waiting for the wrath of his enemies to bring
the evil eye down to destroy the shelter he’s created…
Little do they realize, the climax of every story goes down with a
plot twist to a not-so-happy ending.
Don’t become the product of his universe if that universe doesn’t
work with your lifestyle.
An evil eye—he’s felt it a few times.
The shield of his broken glass will never be the glass you were
trying to break.
