How’s the Melody of Doubt? — New Poems
I start humming at a stranger’s wishes,
Doubtful of their conceptions,
Of the melody they think they play.
Is it like the maker wants a pot of misery—
Stewing in the shadows of their own making?
Is it stuck?
How do you carry yourself with such disgust,
A disguise painted over your soul,
Tapping rhythms that drown the truth?
Do you not crave the call of the outcast,
Or have you already sealed your fate in silence?
“The battle between good and bad isn’t waged in the world—it’s
fought within, where truth reveals that neither is pure, and both
are part of the same whole.”
