A Traumatized Mind — Journal Entries 2023

By Poe

The unwillingness they face.
A feeling of emptiness,
a feeling of never trusting.
This traumatized mindset should rest now;
today isn’t his death day.
This so-called life change
of happy highs and lower endings—
destroying your own mentality for a day’s worth,
facing the mirrors where you once saw a complete success story:
a destroyed soul
that wants to cancel his whole opportunity of becoming a new person
with thoughts of relapsing.
Why?
Egos. It got to him.
The person he once created
is trying to overpower his past by turning it into present-day trauma,
reliving the past scars,
completely swamped in a puddle of tears.
This feeling of a destroyed past
changes you.
Begging for some kind of happiness
while he lost his “man’s best friend.”
Lonely.
Terrified.
Completely forgot what it’s like to trust a single person who follows
him into a room.
They’re seeking the same kind of treatment he is.
Little does he know, the people he once called his friends—a plot
twist too normal.
The devil is trying to make his way back.
He is allowing it.
Help this soul out!
He can’t even face a mirror anymore
without wanting to create an endless waterfall.
