Darkness & DespairResilience & Hope

Jaded — Jaded

By Poe

My mind is blank—
a straight line stretching endlessly.
Is there an explanation
for this loose feeling
woven into the mist of broken thoughts?
I can’t breathe.
Eyes wide open, too close
to the edge of an inner darkness,
spinning between shadow and light.
Consciousness wavers,
uncertain which path to follow.
For now, I tread this journey,
carrying only the hope:
I’ll be out of this soon.
