The Mirror — Jaded

By Poe
January 1, 2024 1 Min Read

I’m the first to greet you each day,
in silence, I reflect your way.
A gentle reminder, soft and true:
the reason life keeps going is you.
Before the weight of the world’s embrace,
before it leaves a single trace,
I hold the strength you seek inside—
in waking up, in being alive.
Who am I, steady and clear,
the one who shows you what’s dear?
