Parent — Freedom

By Poe
January 1, 2013 1 Min Read

I am a parent.
I wonder if I will ever survive.
I hear my kids yelling and screaming.
I see clothes and clutter everywhere.
I want these kids to go!
I am a parent.
I pretend to ignore them.
I feel very annoyed.
I touch something with my hands.
I worry if I will ever just get a break.
I cry when they don’t listen.
I am a parent.
I say to myself, please help me!
I dream that my kids will listen to me.
I hope for freedom.
I am a parent.
