To succeed in life, — An Inconvenient Attachment

By Poe

To succeed in life,
you want to strive for the best.
Wanting to be in love, wanting to be seen—
your voice is all that matters.
What if I told you this isn’t about what you want?
What if I told you it’s what you leave behind?
 Scars don’t heal,
 same with memories…
 careful what you judge!
