Heartbreak & Loss

When you leave, it turns into a mess. — An Inconvenient Attachment

By Poe

When you leave, it turns into a mess.
 When the end is near,
it becomes a wrecked life in turmoil,
not knowing where to go anymore,
not knowing where to find the light,
but just to sit back in the flood,
with the streams pouring down after a horrific event,
 still resisting the truth.
 Still wanting you back,
 but knowing deep down
 there’s no need for you…
not by the actions you portrayed.
