His emotion is a stone. — An Inconvenient Attachment

By Poe

His emotion is a stone.
 Not a single teardrop!
 Not a single smile!
 Not a single emotion!
 Just a hard-headed person
with the inability to complete tasks,
with his mind as crazy as rush-hour traffic.
 His world is the same!
Like he doesn’t know the meaning of relaxation.

His world isn’t the same as yours,
 nor anyone else’s.
He doesn’t fit in with the others,
with the rushing of his brain!
 People look at him
 as if he’s an object
 of self-hate,
 worthless love.
 A careless human!
They don’t want to create a life with him.
He cries to those who’ve been in his life
since the day his heart started to beat.
 In complete shock,
 he’s stuck,
 he’s frozen!
His life is in turmoil once again!
 Not a single smile
could make him ever feel loved again,
 just surrounding himself
 with those who belittle him.
But now he wants to take hold of his life!
 His choices!
 His path!
 I repeat:
no one is helping him but himself!
 He’s a stone,
 formed from pure dirt grounds.
 He’s got this!
 Leaving,

 dropping,
 belittling those who’ve hurt him.
Two wrongs don’t make a right!
 But it’s his life.
 Let him figure it out.
 Right?
